What will my finished tie dye look like?

We know you are excited but we can’t really say until we make it. This website offers many photos of people creating their own tie dye to show you just how different they can be. Here is our statement for you to read and understand prior to ordering:
Remember that all of our tie dye is handmade so NO two are the same.  All of our colors are mixed by hand so there will be variations in appearance, design, color order, as well as a personal interpretation of the color looks and designs.  Some colors will blend together and create other colors such as pinks and blues will blend to purples, yellows and blues will blend to greens.  When choosing colors do not plan for blending, order the colors you want and we will make it work.   All of the tie dye design photos shown on this website are only examples of that tie dye design and in no way are intended to represent an exact duplicate of what you are ordering. There are no exact duplicates in handmade tie dye.

WHY am I not able to order from your site?
We only provide order forms on this website.  If we have not contacted you to process your order it could be because the information never got to us, we are out-of-town, or the information provided was incorrect.  Please feel free to contact us ASAP @ 215-693-1446 and let us know the problem, we would be happy to process your order at that time.  If you should get our message machine please leave us your name & number and we will get back to you asap.

What are the care for instructions?

Our clothing must ALWAYS BE WASHED IN COLD WATER.  There could be some residue.  It is acceptable to wash with other color clothing, such as jeans, but NEVER WASH WITH WHITES.  Never use bleach.  Our clothing is repeatedly washed, dried, preshrunk and ready to wear when you get it.

Will colors bleed or fade?

No more than any other colored clothing over time. Bleeding or fades can happen if washed in warm or hot water, so ALWAYS wash in COLD water to keep the garment vibrant for years.  Never wash in Warm or Hot Water.

Does type b still accept walk-ins to tie dye?

Yes.  We welcome walk-ins 12:30 to 5pm daily but your choice of clothing to tie dye will be limited to what we have available at that time.  It is always best to phone first as it is not uncommon that we are booked with scheduled appointments.  Thank you.

What is type b?

Type b is a personality or behavior pattern.
Meyer Friedman and his co-workers first defined personality types in the 1950’s. Friedman classified people into 2 categories, Type A and Type B Personalities. People with a type b personality were found to be so mellow and laid back that they were less vulnerable to stress related illness.

The Type A personality has been defined as having: “hurry sickness”-a habitual sense of time urgency, an intense drive to achieve their goals, over-competitiveness in all areas of life, a tendency to rush things, difficulty relaxing, obsessed with multitasking, driven by deadlines, an inability to cope with delay.

In contrast, the Type B personality thrives when life is calm and peaceful. The Type B personality enjoys having all the time in the world to achieve goals. Since the Type B personality rejects the idea of thinking within time slots, the imagination is free to soar.  The Type B personality is open to new ideas and different ways of doing things.  A Type B will forgive easily, will laugh at themselves often and has the ability to live knowing that everything will work itself out.  All good things, in all good time. PEACE!
